Here’s the homework for this week!
- Vocabulary- none (will resume after Milestones)
- Instead, students will bring home their historical figures speeches and practice!
Have a great week!
This is where I’ll post weekly homework assignments. Please be sure to check google classroom with this as well.
This week we are very excited to present projects this week! After students have presented, they will be bringing home projects with their grades attached.
For Vocabulary, we are moving back the quiz until Friday just so students can have a chance to study all week. Since these words have been available for almost two weeks, I expect great things! There are a lot of words, so make sure you are studying.
Hello everyone! I hope you had a great MLK weekend!
For this week, we will not be having our vocabulary quiz on Friday. Since it is a short week, we will be doing the quiz on Tuesday of next week. The words are attached, so please review them and study!
Also this week we are working on Habitat Projects. This will be an in class assignment. Students are welcome to bring in supplies from home, but it is not required. If projects are not completed by Friday, projects will be coming home to be finished. Please allow your child to do this as independently as possible if this is the case, I want to see student work. If you have any questions, please email me at email@example.com
Welcome back, I hope you all had a blessed and wonderful holiday season! I know I enjoyed Christmas and New Years and I am thrilled to be back and get back into our routine!
The homework this week is back to normal!
This week we will have a vocabulary quiz on Friday, please have your child go over these at home. We do work on them at school, but the repetition really helps! It’s a short list this week, so hopefully that can make a difference! The Google Presentation linked below also has a practice Quizlet where students can take a practice quiz and use digital flash cards.
We review dictionary skills last week and this week homework will have some dictionary practice, each child received a free dictionary to keep and use! Please encourage them to use this! It’s a great resource!
Hello all! There are lots of exciting things happening this (and next week) and we still have homework! We introduced Susan B. Anthony today and students are expected to study the vocabulary words and be ready for the quiz on Friday. Have a fantastic week Proud Patriots!
Hello everyone! I hope you had a great and restful Thanksgiving break with your family and friends! We all have so much to be thankful for!
Here’s homework for the upcoming week!
This weeks homework is the same menu sheet for Math and ELA.
No vocabulary this week, instead we are going to be taking a Paul Revere Quiz based on the informational texts we have been reading about him.
Also, the Writing Test will be held on Thursday, make sure the kiddos get plenty of rest and are ready for their first big writing test!
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Have a great evening!
Here are the study slides for the Paul Revere words. One the last slide, there is a place where you can practice on digital flashcards on a website called Quizlet. It’s free, no login required. It may ask to sign in using google, which is totally fine! Happy studying and the quiz will be on Friday!
This week’s homework is election themed (no lotto this week). It’s a off week with the holiday, so I switched up homework. Students will have a math electoral college sheet where they have to pick states and add up to 270 electoral college votes. The other sheet is a government sheet, students will watch the election coverage on the news Tuesday night and color in the colors of the states: Red- Trump, Blue-Clinton, Green-Third party candidates.
