Happy Spring everyone!
Here is a copy of this week’s newsletter. Please let me know if you have any questions. 🙂 March 24, 2017
We had a blast on the hundredth day of school. Check out these cute pictures.
We had fun today exploring the benefits of having blubber. Students put their bare hand in ice cold water and then in a “blubber” glove. They realized that having blubber helped keep the animals warmer.
This morning the conductor from the Polar Express made a special visit to read the book to the students. After listening to the story we came back to find bells from Santa’s sleigh at our tables. Then we had fun writing letters to send to Santa. Later we watched the movie and enjoyed some hot chocolate and a little snack. Today was a day filled with fun and not to mention we loved wearing our pajamas today!
Oh no! The gingerbread man is loose in school! This week we read different versions of the Gingerbread Man. One version that we read was The Gingerbread Man Loose in School. After reading we found a letter from the gingerbread man himself letting us know he was loose in our school and he left us clues to help us find him. We followed the clues but he was just too fast for us. Right before he jumped back into the book he left us a sweet surprise. 🙂
