The Google Drive App by Google for iOS is free and has undergone quite a few improvements over the years. Although it doesn’t give you complete access to all of the Google Docs suite (no presentations), it is a robust app that will provide any user with the basics to begin a document or spreadsheet with relative ease.
With students now receiving Google Apps account, this app will become a BYOT “staple” as it is available for any mobile device. Students will be able to perform the basic functions within the app, including moving content from one app to Google Drive for the purpose of collaboration and turning in assignments. They will also be able to access any shared folders from teachers from within the app.
