The program for the 2016 BCSS K-8 Student STEAM Showcase has been finalized and is full of exciting exhibits and projects from students representing every one of our elementary and middle schools.  Take a look at what’s on the docket.

Forty-five teams encompassing over two hundred students are ready to showcase their work from throughout the year building, coding, problem solving, creating, collaborating, filming, editing, critiquing, leading, and enjoying learning.

Come see what STEAM is all about from the other side of the desk, and invite a colleague to come with.  Have your Twitter account ready, those that tweet about the showcase while it is going on using the hashtag #BarrowSTEAM16 will be entered into several door prize drawings for classroom STEAM Resources.  Several Google Cardboard Virtual Reality headsets will given away, along with a Makey Makey Deluxe Kit, a Picoboard Inventors Kit, and two LittleCodr Card Games.

It will absolutely be the place to be in Barrow County at 5:00pm on Wednesday, May 4th.
