What a great success the week-long BCSS Fine Arts Festival turned out to be!  Throughout the week, the Winder Cultural Arts Center was full of masterpieces created by students from all of our art programs in the school system.  Every evening, the Coleen O. Williams Theatre served as the venue for our instrumental, choral, dramatic, and even dance artists to showcase their talents.

We would like to thank all of our fine arts faculty that participated in the festival, our business  and community partners that supported the festival, our parents and families that attended the event, and the City of Winder along with the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce.

As the grand finale of our festival, nine of our talented 4th and 5th grader singers from each of our eight elementary schools assembled to form the 2015 BCSS Elementary Honor Chorus, and gave a wonderful performance.  Students rehearsed throughout the day under the guidance of clinicians Sondra Anderson of Apalachee High School and Haley Cox of Winder-Barrow High School.  It was a very special event.  For the first time ever, the honor chorus performance was streamed live on the internet.  If you missed it, you can view the recording here or on YouTube.
