In this dramatic arts integrated lesson, students merge their science knowledge of day and night with their exploration of Native American literature.  This lesson addresses 4th grade GPS science standard S4E2 concerning day/night cycles and phases of the moon as well as CCGPS ELA standards CC4RL9 and CC4W4.  The dramatic arts vehicle driving engagement and modality enhancement is “tableau” and meets GPS  theatre standard TAES4.7: Integrating various forms, other content areas, and life experiences to create theatre.
