Hour of Code is Coming! December 4 – 10th

The Hour of CodeTM is coming! No worries though, it’s not as ominous as it sounds!  It’s actually an event that coincides with Computer Science Education Week December 4 – 10th, 2017 and students of ALL ages can and are highly encouraged to participate! Hour of CodeTM is a global movement reaching millions of students in 180+ countries.  Teachers are encouraged to take just ONE hour participating in activities that expose students to the coding so they can see what it takes to create the programs and apps they so love using.  NO experience is needed to participate.  There are tutorials available in over 45 languages.

So, how do you get started?  First, start by watching the video below, which will give you an introduction into how the run an Hour Of Code.   Your next step is to move to the Hour of Code website where they will lay out step-by-step what you need to do to prepare.
