How to Embed a Symbaloo Webmix in the New Google Sites

Earlier today I was asked how I got a Symbaloo webmix to embed in the new Google Sites so it shows a preview of the webmix and not the entire page itself.   Although I thought the process was pretty straight forward, I found that my method of grabbing the shared URL and inserting it using the link wasn’t always reliable.   It also would show the webmix on a white background with ads, which isn’t desirable for students. 

Which leads up to the method of stripping down the embed code URL!   

First, you MUST publish/share your webmix to get the webmix name (see video below for help).   Then you’ll use this url as a starting point: 

At the end of the URL, you’re going to add the name of your webmix  Here are two examples of the same webmix, but with two different URLs to show you the difference:
